Creating Sanctuary

Rivendell House can provide reflective and restorative space for individuals, couples, families and groups- where people go deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ and others.  A space where people experience sanctuary AND consider how they can create sanctuary in their own contexts: their marriage or family or workplace or community. 

In a world where there is so much dis-ease, distraction and disconnection we believe these spaces are needed more than ever! We like how author Dane Ortland puts it, “Great truths are not meant to be hurriedly absorbed or quickly downloaded. They are meant to  be slowly digested. Pondered slowly, reflectively, and thereby taken way down deep into our hearts to stay” (‘Gentle and Lowly’ Study Guide).
